A7 Multimedia, Inc., or A7.net, was founded in Daytona Beach, Florida in 1995, by an award-winning agency creative director, Patrick Shannon. Shannon identified the need in the marketplace for high-level, ad agency style creative services combined with high-tech production skills, made available at economical rates.

In 1995, the Internet was just taking off, and A7 caught the rocket ride of the "dot-coms" and "Y2K" which served Patrick and his partners well as they rapidly adopted emerging technologies such as streaming audio and QuickTimeVR.
